The Lifestride model 9100 treadmill has a traditional top-mounted motor with housing, but that's where the similarity to traditional treadmill designs ends. The Lifestride 9100 trainer has most of the exciting reliability features that have made the model 9500 the most durable running machine ever.

Flexing deck minimizes impact. Bones, joints and muscles are protected from unnecessary impact by patented elastometric shock absorbers mounted beneath the deck.

Automatic lubrication reduces maintenance. Five quart wax reservoir automatically lubricates belt-deck contact areas, so you are relieved from constant maintenance...downtime is virtually eliminated.

Reliable best-of-both-worlds motor. "Variable speed," 2-hp AC motor runs at its own speed like a DC unit, but has the speed control, precision, and reliability offered by an AC direct-drive design. Eliminates troublesome clutches and transmissions.

Zero-speed start up for safety. A safe and convenient feature you will appreciate. Just like a DC motor.

Low-profile motor housing. Sloping design frees extra room for foot movement at the front of the belt.
