The Bandito is a lightweight racing flat built to deliver a precise supportive fit and responsive cushioning while being as light and breathable as racing flats come. The Bandito will perform for distances from 5k to the marathon.
Anatomical last: The Bandito is constructed on a sleeker, more sculpted anatomical last. The sleek design of the last will fit the foot precisely from heel to forefoot for faster performance running.
Slip lasted: The Bandito is a fully slip lasted construction for maximum cushioning, lightweight, flexibility while offering a glove like fit throughout the shoe.
Upper design: The upper pattern is designed to be a minimal, low profile sleek design that�s built for speed and comfort. With minimal overlays and more mesh the Bandito will be ultra light. The collar top line is soft and padded for comfort.
Upper materials: Air Mesh, High Density Synthetic, 3M webbing loops.
The vamp, tongue base and ankle collar is constructed with a state of the art air mesh. Air mesh is a tri layer material woven in one process that eliminates the need for cementing the layers together thus significantly improving breathability and comfort while reducing weight.
The synthetic leather trim is an ultra thin (0.9mm), lightweight, soft and breathable synthetic that�s extremely durable and flexible. The High Density NW backer is a high quality construction substrate.
The 3M webbing loops are wide to aid in distributing even lace pressure distribution for a secure fit. The 3M strip on the lace loops and at the heel offer extra security for night time workouts.
Laces: Yes flat laces. Back to functionality. Flat laces are easier to tie and stay tied. Round and oval laces become loose.
Midsole: The midsole of the Bandito is a lower profile anatomical tri density EVA. The heel is a higher durometer EVA for a more responsive feel so less energy and time is absorbed into the midsole. The forefoot is a softer EVA for cushioning with flex grooves while the medial post is positioned under the ankle for support.
Outsole: The outsole is a softer durometer compression molded carbon rubber. The softer durometer will enhance traction, especially on wet surfaces. The outsole design is a low profile unilateral mini lug pattern designed for traction and speed. The forefoot has cut out flex grooves to enhance flexibility.
