The Baby Jogger Company is the original designer and manufacturer of high performance three wheel jogging strollers for the last 20 years. Baby Jogger�s products are world renowned for their superior quality, innovative designs and simple functionality. The Baby Jogger Company was established in 1984 by Phil Baechler, who was a journalist for a local newspaper as well as an avid runner. As Baechler wanted the opportunity to spend time with his then infant son without forsaking his favorite pastime, he began bringing his son along with him in his baby carriage while jogging. He quickly discovered that standard carriages were not made to endure the stress of long distance usage over various surfaces, so he designed a specialized stroller with features more conducive to running. He aptly named it the Baby Jogger. The Baby Jogger was constructed of a sleek, lightweight anodized aluminum frame which had a Cordura nylon seat and three bicycle tires, making it the original three-wheeled stroller.
